SEARCH WARRANT RECOVERS STOLEN PROPERTY FROM MULTIPLE BURGLARIES
June 12th, 2010

At about 3 pm, on June 11th, McMinnville Officers served a search warrant at 550 Jackson St in Lafayette.. Officers recovered stolen video games and game systems from the May 3rd burglary of Game On at 214 NE 11th St, McMinnville. They also recovered tattoo inks, tattoo guns, an autoclave, and other tattoo equipment from the May 12th burglary of Vintage Tattoo at 205 SE Baker St, McMinnville. The estimated value of the recovered property was over $7,000.

Jaime Angel Hoyos, 21, of 550 Jackson St, Lafayette was contacted at Yamhill County Correctional Facility and charged with three counts of Theft 1 for possession of stolen property with a Security Release Amount of $15,000. This was based on the recovered property from these two burglaries and the recovery of a stolen laptop from the May 18th burglary of Columbus Elementary School at 1600 SW Fellows, McMinnville. This laptop was recovered by Yamhill County Sheriff Office's Community Response Team during a search warrant of the same residence on June 10th.
